You will meet with members of DeGroote School of Business Human Resources to review aspects of your employee self-service in Mosaic, such as time and absence training, how to review your bi-weekly pay statements and where to view your completed health and safety modules.

Regular touchpoints will be scheduled with your supervisor to ensure a continuous path for learning and integration into your new position.

McMaster’s Faculty and Staff Directory contains contact information for all faculty and staff at McMaster University. If you have not yet been added to the directory, complete the online form provided by the University Technology Services team here and follow these steps:

  • Click on the ‘update your listing in the directory’ tile.
  • Log in with your MAC ID.
  • Once logged in, you may select the tab ‘Update Directory Listing’ and complete the form.

Faculty and employees with McMaster University are paid biweekly by direct deposit. You have access to your pay statements and other personal information through Mosaic.

Accessing your pay statements

  • From the Mosaic homepage, click the ‘To Employee Self Service’ tile.
  • Click the ‘Payroll Dashboard’ tile.
  • Select the ‘Paycheques’ tile with information on pay date and net pay
  • Then select the corresponding pay statement.

Review your pay statement and ensure that it accurately reflects your benefit choices, payroll deductions, personal information, pension/RRSP contributions (if applicable), etc. If you are having trouble understanding the terms used in the statement, please refer to McMaster’s Understanding Your Pay Statement glossary
